Mathias Gidsel to be ready for Main Round

Mathias Gidsel suffered a stroke in the abdomen during the match against Slovenia. However, he is improving and one should not worry about playing at Men’s EHF EURO 2022 Main Round.
Olympic tournament MVP, Danish right back will be ready for the start of the Main Round, but will miss the last match of the Preliminary Round against North Macedonia:
“Status is that Gidsel is feeling better. He is resting well today. It was a tough match yesterday (Saturday, ed.), But it is progressing well, so it is going as it should, ” Danish psyhio Anja David Greve says to TV2 sport.
