Both gold medals from the Mediterranean Games going to Spain!
In the interesting final of the Men’s tournament Spaniards led by Jordi Ribera beat Egypt 28:27 after questionable decision of the referees in the last attack to not whistle the foul on Egyptian playmaker Eldeera. However, Spaniards won the gold medal for the second time.
Serbia won silver by beating North Macedonia 34:29.
Spain beat Croatia 29:25 at the final of the Women’s tournament. Third place won Serbia against Portugal 26:22.
