Saturday is a day for rest at the Men’s U20 EHF EURO 2014. Four teams have already secured the places at TOP 8 phase – Sweden, Slovenia, Germany and Austria. Denmark is also very close to start the battle for the semi-finals with two points. Strong Danish team “destroyed” Estonia 35:15 in the most convincing performance in two days of the tournament in Linz and Traun.
The most interesting match was seen in Linz, where Norway made surprise over Spain 24:23 and stayed in the battle for TOP 8. Host team also had another tough battle with happyend against Slovakia 27:24, after which with Germans went to TOP 8.
Young Serbs showed class against Swiss team 29:23 and have to finish the job against Estonia in the last round.
