Metalurg Skopje will play against RK Zagreb in the 8-finals. The reaction to the draw on behalf of Metalurg was given by Risto Chokrev, the President of HC Metalurg.
I personally wanted Veszprem, but Zagreb is not a bad option too. Seeing at the draw, I’d say maybe we got lucky, as Koper is playing against Kielce, and Kielce is stronger than RK Zagreb. In the game against Zagreb we will go with ease and we’ll try to do everything to get past our opponent with big handball history – concluded Chokrev.
The teams already met this season in the regional competition the SEHA league, and the game in Skopje finished 19:19, a game which also included a lot of questions over the refereeing.
