HCM Minaur Baia Mare won the first trophy in Romania after 16 years by beating Energia Panduri 31:25 in the final match of Romanian Cup F4. Team coached by Dane Lars Walther, former head-coach of RK Gorenje Velenje and Orlen Wisla Plock, in the semi-final battle beat the biggest favorite HCM Constanta 25:24, while Panduri overplayed Odorhe 24:23.
