One of the biggest reason why the trophy of the Men’s EHF Champions League came to Flensburg, the Swedish goalkeeper Mattias Andersson (36) commited his future to the team from the German-Danish border by signing new two years contract. The new deal will keep Swedish star in the team of Ljubomir Vranjes until 2017, which will be probably the last year of his proffesional career:
– I feel very comfortable here, can imagine that I will finish my career here. My family feels in Handewitt at home and like living here – said Andersson.
He played in THW Kiel, FC Barcelona and TV Grosswallstadt, before 2011, when he came to Flensburg.
