As the Kieler Nachrichten reports, Niklas Ekberg is in very intense communication with the THW Kiel management regarding a possible transfer to the Schleswig-Holstein club. The right-wing found himself without a club following the Olympics due to the bankrupt of AG Kobenhavn, and now seeks a new club. The 23-year old was the Olympics top scorer with 50 goals, and won the Silver medal with Sweden.
