Nikola Karabatic: We need to change rules of the game

Nikola Karabatic netted his first goal in 52nd minute of clash with Sweden 24:17 but even that was enough for French win. Amazing night had Vincent Gerrard with 19 saves.

• We played very good in attack, Gerard was excelent, he saved everything in the first 15 minutes. Swedish team lost self-confidence, thanks to that we had easier job in defense. There is no easy matches at EURO. We had tough opener against Norway, now beat Sweden with six goals, but through great fight. Our feet are on the ground. Serbs have no more chances for semi-final, but that is even worse for us. They have nothing to lose, so I expect tough match. 

There is a lot of discussions about new video technology at EHF EURO 2018….

• Please, don’t ask me about that. It is very tough to be referee in our sport. Rules aren’t good, that has to be changed. Referees need help, they can afford mistake sometimes, but rules have to be clear as much as it possible.
