After resigned coach, Ljubomir Savevski, Macedonian vice-champion, Vardar Skopje found a replacement for a coach position and also, strengthened their squad with a quality left back. A new coach is Montenegrin, Pero Milosevic. He had a lot of success with HC Lovcen Cetinje, with whom played Champions League 1/4 final at 2000. Milosevic also lead Montenegrin men’s team in sucessfull qualifications for EURO 2008, until now, only major championships for Montenegro handball. He was supposed to lead national team of Bahrein at World Championships 2011 in Sweden, but at the end, he is changed by Danish coach.
A new left back of Vardar Skopje is Serbian, Bozidar Markicevic (27). Markicevic played for Partizan Belgrade, Gold Club (Slovenia), Teucro (Spain) and last season finished with a “double crown” in Macedonia with HC Metalurg. After a few months in Al Saad from Qatar, he decided to back to Europe and sign contract with the biggest opponent of HC Metalurg in Macedonia, HC Vardar Skopje.
