In their first away match of the current season, Vive Targi Kielce defeated Piotrkowianin Piotrków Trybunalski 37:26. The match did not begin well for Polish Champions. Even though they were leading, their effectiveness left a lot to be desired – just like in their previous game against Górnik Zabrze. Kielce had quite a problem in attack and it kept this way during the entire match. Fortunately for Iskra, Venio Losert did well in their goal and kept saving the situation. Goalkeepers from Piotrków – Piotr Ner and Patryk Wnuk also played very well. Despite their problems, Kielce gained seven-goal advantage before the halftime. In the second half they did not play much better but still managed to enlarge the advantage and to win by 11 goals in the end. The top scorer for Kielce was Ivan Čupić (10).
