An interesting meeting was played in Mielec, where the local team fought against Vive Targi Kielce. Although result (31:39) doesn’t indicate it, the fans couldn’t complain about the one-sided show. Both teams acceded to the match with considerable staffing shortages, but though Stal’s players saw an opportunity for a positive result, the Polish champions being placed in the role of favorites and they didn’t disappoint expectations. From the beginning Kielce’s players imposed their style of play, but “Chechens” didn’t allow opponents to achieve a significant advantage. The result after first half was 14:20, but in 42′ minutes the hosts have managed to reduce the goal difference to 23:26, showing that they don’t intend to give up. Willingness, however, is not enough to beat the Polish champions. The last fifteen minutes is a game show of Bartłomiej Tomczak and Rastko Stojković, through which Vive won so clearly.
