Raúl González to Take Over as RK Partizan Head Coach

RK Partizan’s new head coach will be Raúl González from the season 2026/2027.
What had been circulating in handball circles after the EHF EURO 2026 in Herning now makes full sense following a joint statement from the club and current coach Đorđe Ćirković, who has guided the team back to a trophy-winning path over the past three years.
González became head coach of the Serbian national team last summer after parting ways with Paris Saint-Germain.
Partizan’s project is expected to bring together several national-team players as well—something that could ultimately benefit the Serbian national side too.
González won the EHF Champions League with Vardar in 2017.
