The runners-up in Israel, Makabi Risho Le Zion will catch the “big fish”. The 40 years-old right back Renato Vugrinec will join the ambitious Israeli team, who had clear vision to become leader at the domestic scene, but also offer something more in Europe. It was expected that Vugrinec will stay in Skopje, where he worked with new ambitious Macedonian project – RK Rabotnički, but offer from Israel was too good to refuse.
Vugrinec spent last season in Qatari Lehwiya. His fantastic performances has been seen in RK Metalurg in two seasons before Gulf’s challenge.
He was also a member of RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko, SC Mageburg, Portland San Antonio…
Experinced lefthander played for Slovenian national team, while at Qatar 2015 his appearances was under the Macedonian flag.
