Swedish champions IFK Kristianstad celebrated their second win at the VELUX EHF Champions League by making a huge surprise over Rhein Neckar Lowen 32:29 (20:12). The German “Lions”, once again, dissapointed their fans with a bad performance in European elite competition, while Ola Lindgren boys with new points stayed competitive for the placement at TOP 16 after series of defeats.
Iranian star Iman Jamali, who came last summer from Veszprem, netted eight goals for the winners, while Andy Schmid simply wasn’t enough to save his team with seven goals.
