Sander Sagosen shoulder is not OK
Norwegian superstar Sander Sagosen will be out for a longer period of time according to statement made by his club Kolstad IL:
“Sander Sagosen got a real kick in the home game against Zagreb at EHF Champions League earlier this week. We have now received the results of the tests, and it turns out that he has suffered damage to the ligament in his right shoulder.
Sander Sagosen made a terrific start in the Champions League match against Zagreb on Wednesday. He managed to deliver 3 goals and 3 assists in the first 10 minutes, before he was hit in the shoulder. He landed awkwardly in a situation where there was a fight for the ball. Unfortunately, that was the last thing he did in that match, and he was sent straight to the hospital at half-time for examinations.
In recent days, we have investigated the injury, and an MRI examination shows that there has been damage to the ligament in the shoulder. A dialogue has been established with a shoulder specialist, and together we will make a plan for further follow-up. It is too early to estimate when Sander will be able to play again”, it’s written in statement.
