Croatian champions PPD Zagreb won the SEHA GAZPROM league derby in Belarus! The EHF Champions League quarterfinalists from the previous season beat Meshkov Brest in away match – 24:21 (12:12). Veselin Vujovic boys showed great performance in which they broke the stereotype about Zagreb as only “home team” power.
However, the bigger problem came after the match, when seven PPD Zagreb played were hospitalized in Brest hospital after problem with virus.
In the second match of SEHA Sunday, RK Nexe beat RK Vojvodina Novi Sad 26:24.
