SG Flensburg Handewitt win first French-German battle in Nantes

SG Flensburg Handewitt have won the first German-French battle in the new season of the VELUX EHF Champions League 2018/2019. The German champions win in Nantes 34:31 (18:16) over the finalists of the EHF CL Final4 2018.

The team of Maik Machulla had an advantage in terms of goalkeepers’ performance with Benjamin Buric in very good role with 12 saves.
