German SG Flensburg finally said NO to Serbian Handball Federation about “second job” for their coach Ljubomir Vranjes, who took Serbian “Eagles” at the last week of the qualification for Men’s EHF EURO 2014 in June. Swedish coach with Serbian origins made a great job, won two matches and qualified with Serbia for the tournament in Denmark, but German team weren’t ready to give him a “green light” to continue to seat on Serbian bench.
New “first pick” is RK Celje Pivovarna LAsko coach Vladan Matic. Ex-coach of Pick Szeged and FTC is ready to work with Serbia team alongside with his partner from Celje, legendary goalkeeper Dejan Peric.
Negotiations will follow in the upcoming days, but deal is almost reached.
