Slovenian clubs will next season, however, not participate in the SEHA regional league! Slovenian Handball Federation in the announcement explained why the best three Slovenian clubs gave up playing in the SEHA league.
– The SEHA leadership answered us that they do not accept our clubs’ offer, and therefore the Slovenian clubs will not participate in the SEHA league next season. The amount of 300.000 EUR per club for two seasons is too big. The reason for this outcome is exclusively of financial nature, after the SEHA management changed the conditions last-minute after they were previously agreed. – said Gen-Sec of the SHF Goran Cvijic for SIOL.
