The latest reports according to Sportski Zurnal, say that it is possible to see the in-form Serbian goalkeeper Darko Stanic as a replacement for Thierry Omeyer, as it seems likely that he will be leaving Kiel this summer. “Sportski Zurnal” reports that Kiel had intention to bring Stanic in the summer 2013, but as the situation over the status of Omeyer in the club changed, the thinking is now that the club immediately needs to bring a world-class goalkeeper, such as Stanic.
Apparently, Metalurg and Goppingen had previously reached agreement over Stanic staying in Skopje for an amount of 200,000 EUR to be received by Goppingen, but then suddently Goppingen changed mind and asked for 300,000 EUR, which was out of question for Metalurg. However, it seems that Kiel is ready to pay these money.
