Arpad Sterbik’s injury has been confirmed by the team’s medics, and the injury will not allow him play for at least one month. He has suffered the injury in the 3rd minute of the semifinal against Hamburg at the Final Four in Cologne. This means that he is also due to miss the two qualifying games for Spain for the European Championship in Serbia 2012 against Lithuania and Romania, on the 9th and 12th June respectively. This has caused Valero Rivera to call Jose Manuel Sierra as a substitution for Sterbik.
