Sterbik to retire in summer 2018?

Arpad Sterbik is going to retire in summer 2018? Experienced goalkeeper of Macedonian RK Vardar Skopje, born in 1979, came back to Balkan in 2014 from FC Barcelona Lassa to ambitious team supported by the money of Russian boss Sergey Samsonenko.

Sterbik’s contract will expire in summer 2018, when his handball days will be “numbered”, said legendary goalie to Origo.hu.

Sterbik won EHF Champions League three times with BM Ciudad Real. He won also EHF Challenge Cup at the start of career with RK Jugovic Kac.

With Yugoslav national team Sterbik took two world’s bronze in 1999 and 2001. He won world’s gold with Spain in 2013.
