After serious battles in the Swedish Play-Off semifinal, the new champion will be decided after 60 minutes in “Scandinavium” in Gothenburg. Two best teams in Sweden are IFK Kristianstad and HK Drott Halmstad. The third and fourth team of the regular part of Championship made the great efforts to qualify for the final clash on May 9. IFK Kristianstad beat current champion Savehof 3:2 in series. Drott found a way to the final against Lugi after five matches – 3:2.
Interesting fact is that both finalist secured the decisive match with the victories as away teams. Kristianstad beat Savehof 32:27, while Drott was better than Lugi 24:23.
