Barlinek Industria Kielce will fight again for the EHF Champions League crown in Cologne on June 18 and 19. The Polish champions will meet PSG Handball in semi-final, but the biggest worries in the moment is healthy status of some injured players like Karalek, Karacic and Olejniczak.
- The closer I get to the tournament, the worse I sleep! There are many unknowns ahead of us, we still do not know what line-up we will go to Cologne. But I don’t want to complain about how hard life is. We are Barlinek Industria Kielce and as long as we have six players plus a goalkeeper, we always go to the match to win. Whether it will work is another matter, but we don’t want to cry over our injuries. In the life of every player there are matches in which he wants to play at all costs. These are the finals of the Olympic Games, the World and European Championships and the Final4 of the Champions League. If our injured players can help even for a few minutes, we will want to use it. Last week I only had nine outfield players in training. It is not easy to prepare an attack and defense in such conditions. But we must take all our chances – said coach Talant Dujshebaev on the media conference prior to departure to Germany.
