THW Kiel won the German Super Cup played today in Munich. They beat Flensburg with 29:26 in a game which could have ended otherwise had Flensburg scored in their attack in last two minutes while it was 27:26 for THW. That was followed by a fast THW Kiel counter-attack and 28:26. Flensburg misses again, and in the final seconds of the game THW score for 29:26. Most of the first half went even with both teams exchanging leads. In the second half THW Kiel managed to slip away few times but SG Flensburg always managed to get back in game and get close.
Marko Vujin was the topscorer with 9 goals, from which four 7-meter goals. SG Flensburg had Eggert and Glandorf each scoring six goals. In the second half, Djordjic had an injury which forced him out until the end of the game, severity unknown yet.
