Slovenian right back (wing) Vid Kavticnik will stay focused on his performance in French Montpellier after signing new three-years deal which will keep him in the club until summer 2019. The 31-years old lefthander is now in his seventh season in the club since 2009, when he came to France together with Nikola Karabatić from THW Kiel.
Kavtičnik was the part of the first EHF CL winning campaign in the German team. He played for Kiel between 2005 and 2009. Kavtičnik’s first proffesional team was RK Gorenje Velenje.
He also won the Men’s EHF EURO 2004 silver medal with the national team in front of domestic fans in Ljubljana.
