As the rumors were saying, so it came, now Veselin Vujovic is again the Vardar coach. After few months without any engagement (he coached Mid-East club until then), the management of RK Vardar has decided to again employ Vujovic, and to thank Pero Milosevic for the service so far.
Unusual for these area, both coaches were present at the press-conference, where the sponsor and first-man of RK Vardar, Mihajlo Mihajlovski, was decisive, saying that after the victory against Copenhagen, things went down, defeats against Metalurg and Prolet in the home championship, very bad play against Resita in the return match, and finally the 12 goals defeat against Gummersbach, so logically time for change had come. He, however, did not forget to thank Milosevic for the things he had done for the club, including the 1/2 final in the CWC.
Now Vujovic’s task is win the Cup in Macedonia, and to make a honorable farewell from the European scene in the return-match against Gummersbach.
