Succesful shooting performance by Momir Ilic and Kiril Lazarov in the semi-finals of the VELUX EHF Champions League F4 in Cologne put Balkan guys at the TOP of the Goalscorers list this season. Mikkel Hansen stayed third with 103 goals, while Momir Ilic (109) and Kiril Lazarov (106) will decide who is the KING in the direct encounter in the final between MKB MVM Veszprem and FC Barcelona.
However, both entered the TOP 5 of all-time list. Ahead of them are only Filip Jicha with 119 goals (2009/2010) and Uwe Gensheimer with one less in season after. Unofficialy, record holder is Serbian “terminator” Nenad Perunicic with 120 goals in the season 2001/2002 when he won the CL crown with the German SG Magdeburg, but in EHF CL statistics are only 83 goals confirmed…
