What a fantastic match was derby of DKB Bundesliga between HSV and THW Kiel 26:32 (14:16) in front of 12.000 fans in “O2 Arena” in Hamburg! New squad of THW Kiel showed TOP performance and that they don’t need a time to be a world class team with a lot of newcomers – Kiel is that already. The clash was undecided until 48th minute (23:23), when “Zebras” made 3:0 series with fantastic series of Andrea Palicka saves and goals of Lauge and Filip Jicha.
HSV didn’t have player on back positions to take responsibility in crucial moments of the match. Hens (3), Canellas (2), Djordjic (3), Markovic (2) and Duvnjak (1) were easy tasks for strong Kiel’s defence with fantastic goalkeepers, Sjostrand and Palicka.
Hans Lindberg (8) was the man to make something more for his team, but Danish right wing finished match with four missed shots, surprisingly for him!
Marko Vujin was key player for winning team in the first half and the TOP scorer with 10 goals (10/15).
