Women’s EHF EURO 2012: Historical victory for Serbia – Sweden too strong for Macedonian girls

In the first two matches of Group A and B at the Women’s EHF EURO 2012 in Serbia, home team celebrated the first win ever as independent country, after nine defeats in a row at EHF EURO 2006, 2008 and 2010. Serbia beats Ukraine 25:23 in front of 4.000 fans in “Kombank Arena”.

STATISTICS

Sweden had much easier job with poor Macedonia 26:15. Macedonian girls were again too bad for the rivals and only theorethicaly they have chances to stay at the Championship, if they beat Denmark in the last match.
