It’s not something new that Spanish coach are the most popular on the handball planet, but it is when FC Barcelona Lassa head-coach wants to test himself in national team competitions. According several Romanian and Spanish sources, Barca’s coach Xavi Pascual reached verbal agreement with the Romanian Handball Federation about overtaking senior team until Tokyo 2020.
Romania, despite passion for handball and rich tradition, has no serious results on international level with Men’s NT in the last two decades.
That could change with four-years deal which is offered to Pascual.
