As Handball-Planet.com finds out exclusively, the best handball player ever, handball “Mozzart”, Ivano Balic (34) is very close to make a deal with German HSG Wetzlar! This option became reality after Croatian playmaker refused offer from Belarus – Meshkov Brest. Despite he always was a latent antagonist of the world’s best handball league – Bundesliga, now it looks very realistic that Balic will make his debut in this competition at last part of his proffesional career!
He will be useful addition to the squad which recently lost the first playmaker Adnan Harmandic, who broke finger and will be out of the court for three months. Balic has to replace him and give a dose of confidence to the team – the biggest surprise of last season in DKB Bundesliga, when Wetzlar finished 7th.
