HC Vardar wants Rutenka, Karabatic, Sterbik and Lazarov?!

As Macedonian newspaper “Makedonski Sport” writes, HC Vardar wants to make a dream team for next summer by signing the Barcelona-quartet – Siarhei Rutenka, Nikola Karabatic, Arpad Sterbik and Kiril Lazarov. On first thought it might seem hard to believe, but knowing the new owner’s Sergey Samsonenko willingness to create a world brand as with the women’s squad, these rumours should definitely not be taken lightly. HC Vardar has already bought some great players this season, and the owners’ plan for next season is to create a team which could challenge for the EHF Champions League title.
