Henrik Groener to leave Dutch girls after Women’s EHF EURO 2016

Dutch Handball Federation announced that Henrik Groener will end his era on the bench after Women’s EHF EURO 2016 in Sweden! The “Orange girls” made fantastic results with Groener at the helm – winning silver medal at World Championship 2015, but also fourth place at Olympic Games in Rio.

  • The silver medal of the World Championships in Denmark in 2015 was a clear evidence of the progress we have made in recent years. The first ever participation in the Olympic Games in Rio, where we  just missed the final, is a milestone in the history of the Dutch handball. “- said Henk Groener to website of the national Federation.
