Russian national team player Sergei Gorbok will reinforce Vardar for next three years, starting from season 2014/2015 confirmed club’s president Sergei Samsonenko. Vardar is, by signing this experienced international showed its intentions to become more competitive in both SEHA GSS and EHF’s Champions league.
“At the moment I would like to announce that we have signed Sergei Gorbok for the next three years, starting from the next season. Now, during the brake, we have to find a coach for the rest of the season, or maybe for the next season, said Sergei Samsonenko who was, together with coach Andon Boskovski, on club’s bench during the last four matches of the CL.
Gorbok was option for club before the start of the season, but he has already signed one year contract with Bundesliga team Rhein-Neckar Löwen. So far in EHF’s Champions league, Gorbok has scored 16 goals in seven games.
