One of the Danish best shooters Nikolaj Markussen (27) signed two years contract with Bjerringbro-Silkeborg. Ambitious domestic squad attracted 211 cm tall left back who had huge international experience with BM Atletico Madrid and Qatari team El Jaish.
Markussen was the biggest star in the first victory of his Skjern in EHF Cup Group against RK Vojvodina in Novi Sad 25:23.
“Bjerringbro-Silkeborg is a great club with a really good coach and a strong squad. It’s a team that plays at a very high level, and they have also shown this season with their third place despite their many injuries. Can we get a season without injuries next year, I think it looks very exciting, “says Nikolaj Markussen about his future club.
