VELUX EHF Champions League TOP 8 Draw will be held on Tuesday in Vienna at 11:oo hrs local time. The winners of the last 16 matches between 3rd placed and 2nd placed teams of the group phase (SG Flensburg Handewitt, THW Kiel, HC Metalurg and Atlético Madrid) will play the first match at home against a winner of the Last 16 matches between 4th placed and 1st placed teams of the group phase (HSV Hamburg, MKB Veszprém KC, Vive Targi Kielce and FC Barcelona Intersport).
There will be no protection from the teams from the same country or from the teams from the same group of the group phase what means that Hamburg can meet Flensburg or Kiel and Barcelona can face Atlético.
The matches of the first leg are scheduled for 17-21 April, the second leg duels will follow 24-28 April.
The winning teams of the quarter-finals qualify for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 in Cologne (1 and 2 June 2013).
