13th International Handball Goalkeepers Camp summer in Omis

For the thirteenth year in a row, one of the most successful handball projects in the Balkan region and beyond, the International Handball Goalkeepers Camp begins in Omiš (Croatia) with the participation of a large number of goalkeepers from all over the world. As it has been arranged from the very beginning, with excellent conditions for work and enjoyment offered by the Adriatic coast, the participants of the camp, aged between nine and 24, will work with well-known goalkeepers names such as Andy Wolff, Viktor Halgrimsson, Filip Ivić, Urho Kastelic, Marin Sego, while in the coaching staff will be Haris Porobić, Dino Špiranec, Ice Sokoleski, Primož Prošt, Miloš Čučković, Radek Kozaczuk. The two Omis halls within SC “Ribnjak” in the next seven days will be a concentration of quality when it comes to the position that many in our sport say is “half the team”.

– This year too, we tried to maintain the standard we set back in 2011. The combination of big handball names in addition to which the children receive special motivation and inspiration for further work, i.e. coaches with a pedigree, proved to be successful and everyone has heard about this project for a long time. which have anything to do with handball. I believe that all guests of the Camp, and there are more than 200 of them, will spend a nice handball week in Dalmatia and that they will progress in every sense – Mario Čaljkušić, director of the Camp, told Balkan-Handball.com.
