2023 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship: Faroe Islands dream big, 1/4 pairs are ready!
The main round has concluded at the 2023 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship.
Spain and Denmark are the only sides with a five-game winning streak, while hosts Croatia are still unbeaten, with four wins and a draw against Hungary, who missed to qualify for 1/4 final in the last attack by hitting the post.
Reigning champions Egypt, Germany, the Faroe Islands, Norway and Portugal are the other qualified teams, with the quarter-finals scheduled for Thursday in the Varaždin Arena in Varaždin.
The Placement Matches will also continue in Koprivnica, as well as the President’s Cup in Rijeka and Opatija, with the final standings for places 9-32 being decided on Friday, when the semi-finals are also due to be played.
