THW Kiel playmaker and HP World Handball Player 2013, Domagoj Duvnjak, criticized the “two-days” event in Cologne as dangerous for athletes. The “Zebras” have played two matches in less than 20 hours at Lanxess Arena against Veszprem and PSG Handball….
- That is disasterous. A real disaster for our bodies. Thanks God nobody isn’t seriously injured. We played against Veszprem at 18hrs on Saturday, exausting match, practically, we didn’t sleep a whole night because of adrenaline, and then, tomorrow at 13hrs you have to go to the hall. Disaster. I hope that something will change. I watches basketball Euroleague, that is perfection. You play on Friday, then you rest, and again play on Sunday. Quality of handball would be much higher – said Domagoj Duvnjak for Balkan-Handball.com
