Swedish surprise for host team!
Even without many stars stopped by COVID-19 and injuries, Sweden managed to surprise the host team of the IHF World Championship 2021 – Egypt 24:23 (9:12). Swedish defense with goalkeeper Aggefors in the second half was impressive. Linus Persson netted eight goals for the winners.
This means that Swedish team will take all four points to the Main Round, Egypt 2 and North Macedonia 0.
