From Gislason to Apelgren – “Coach” at World Championship 2025 is 52 years and 7 months old!
From Alfred Gislason to Michael Apelgren. In total, 32 coaches will lead their teams at upcoming IHF Men’s World Championship 2025 in Croatia, Denmark and Norway. German NT coach Alfred Gislason is the oldest as 65 years old, while six others are 60+.
When tournament starts on January 14, there will be only five coaches which are under 45.
The average age of this group of coaches is approximately 52.6 years.
