After a long and succesfull career with many years in TOP handball in Denmark, 33- year-old Serb, Tanja Milanovic decided to terminate his career.
– I ‘ve thought long about it and I wondered to continue 1-2 more years. But there has been much uncertainty in the past and I have become disenchanted – said Milanovic to tv2sport.dk and continues:
She has played in Denmark for seven seasons , where she was only in Randers HK and later Ikast Bording , FCK and this season FIF .
– It’s been great to play in the best league . It gives a different energy than in other countries, although lacking a little crowd in some places , says Tanja Milanovic.
She played for Yugoslavia national team and won bronze medal in WC 2001.
In career she played for four Danish teams – Randers HK, Ikast, FCK and FIF. Before Denmark, she spent three years in Portugal – Madeira. In Serbia, she played for Napredak Krusevac.
She is living in Copenhagen, where she lives with her husband.
