Norway celebrate their sixth Olympic medal! The Norge girls easily outplayed Netherlands 36:26 (19:13) in the match for the bronze. Thorir Hergeirsson’s team was simply better rival from the beginning just like in the final of the World Championship 2015.
Mork, Loke and their team-mates made 17:8 after only 23 minutes of the match at Future Arena which was a clear sign that Dutch girls can’t cope with the pressure and charisma of the Scandinavian squad.
Nora Mork netted six goals for the winners, while Nicky Groot scored seven in Dutch team.
Norway won two gold, silver and bronze medals at Olympic Games.
