Russia are new women’s Olympic champions! The Russian girls beat France 22:19 (10:7) in the big final clash at Future Arena in Rio! The historical success was the only title which didn’t have charismatic Russian coach Evgeny Trefilov in his collection.
The girl of the big final was Anna Vyakhireva who netted six goals in the winning team, two most important in the latest part of the match.
