Christopher Bonde to replace Ivan Pesic at HBC Nantes

HBC Nantes presented replacement for Croatian goalkeeper Ivan Pesic, who will leave the club in summer 2026.
Future goalkeeper partner of Spaniard Nacho Biosca, who is under contract with the club until 2027, Christopher Bonde has signed a three-year deal, running until the summer of 2029.
The Dane has played for Skjern Handbold in his home country for the past four seasons and reached the championship final this season. Prior to that, the 26-year-old was trained in Aarhus. He has twice been named Best Goalkeeper in the Danish league, and this season he recorded the second-best save percentage behind Niklas Landin (28 games/209 saves/32.03%).
“I am very happy to have signed with HBC Nantes, a very big club that is now among the biggest in Europe, and with which I want to take the next step in my career. This will be my first experience abroad, but I believe it’s the right time for me to leave Denmark. It’s an exciting challenge,” Bonde said in a club statement.
