Veszprém and Nantes Take Big Steps Toward EHF Champions League Quarter-finals

Veszprém and Nantes took important steps toward the EHF Champions League quarter-finals!
The Hungarian champions, under huge pressure from both the management and the fans, delivered one of their best performances of the season and beat Paris Saint-Germain 32:24, taking a serious eight-goal advantage into the second leg in Paris.
Danish side GOG had a six-goal lead in the second half against Nantes (22:16), then held a two-goal advantage and the ball at the start of the 60th minute, but the French team launched a blitz in the closing moments and snatched victory with a last-second goal by Minne from 13–14 meters.
