HC Ohrid boost for the spring: Pribetić joins from Stuttgart, Kosevski signed

Macedonian ambitious team GRK Ohrid will welcome another Bundesliga reinforcement at the start of the new year.
The 25-year-old Croatian line player Giafranco Pribetić is arriving at “Biljanini Izvori” to join the squad coached by Serbian head coach Boris Rojević.
A strong first half of the season — historic for the Ohrid club — has motivated the management and coaching staff to return to the market and sign the occasional Croatian international, who has spent the past year and a half with a Bundesliga side.
Pribetić made his full breakthrough while playing for Nexe from 2019 to 2024, including an appearance at the EHF European League Final4 in 2022. In Stuttgart colors, he scored 86 goals in 50 matches.
At the line position, Ohrid already have Greek pivot Nikolas Liapis, Serbian pivot Vladimir Bojanović, and homegrown player Igor Taseski, and there is no doubt the powerful Croatian will provide even more options for a team that sits third in the Macedonian Super League at the winter break.
Pribetić has signed a contract until the summer of 2028.
ALEN KOSEVSKI – A LEFT-HANDED ADDITION
Ohrid have also strengthened the right wing position by signing Alen Kosevski. The 24-year-old left-hander spent six and a half years at Skopje’s Vardar and will serve as an alternative to the experienced Serbian international Darko Đukić.
