Miljan Vujovic to replace Torbjorn Bergerud at Orlen Wisla Plock

Slovenian national team goalkeeper Miljan Vujovic will continue his career at Wisła Płock instead of joining Slovan Ljubljana.

The Polish vice-champions have run into problems between the posts. Their expensive signing, Torbjørn Bergerud, has not lived up to expectations, prompting the ambitious management to look for a solution — which they found in the former Stuttgart goalkeeper.

Vujovic was expected to join national team coach Uroš Zorman at the Slovenian vice-champions, but the situation on the market led to a different outcome. The Ljubljana-based team will now rely on the experienced Ferlin, Bojić, Pantjar and others.

The Montenegrin-born goalkeeper previously played for Gorenje and Celje Pivovarna Laško, before moving to the Bundesliga at just 22 years of age.
