Germany celebrate the title in Belgrade!

Written off and virtually left at the mercy of Slovenia at the end of the Main Round, Germany found a way back into the tournament. Slovenia, despite already having secured their place in the quarter-finals, defeated Serbia and kept the Germans alive.

Germany entered the quarter-finals as the last team to qualify — and then went all the way.

They eliminated Iceland and Spain before producing another impressive performance in the final, defeating Slovenia 36:27 to claim the M18 EHF EURO 2026 title.

In the bronze-medal match, Denmark defeated Spain 32:28.
